Mens dilemma: Cars or girls

It has long been known that the good cars and beautiful women produce almost exactly the same reaction in men. Psychologists and psychiatrists explain as irritation and activating the same brain centers, but without the annoying and cumbersome explanations.

I personally have never experienced an erection looking at a car or thinking about it, but more than once I felt butterflies in my stomach because of the piece of metal on four wheels, but for females.

This then causes various comparisons between car-woman. We can debate on this subject for a long time, but they definitely SUVs are chubby girls, Roadsters - a topless girl, little GTI models - cute kid, a large executive sedans are always reminded me of MILF ladies. Somehow, whenever I see a Mercedes S class I think of
Kim Basinger.

Just like that are the top beauties. Smart, handsome, erotic and beautiful they are GT models of the human form and the two legs. It is equally difficult to obtain, just as expensive and tricky to maintain and equally striking, they are the dream of every man. Even the design of the car similar to the female body. The long hood as long legs, tall and short tail female background as a high waist and forms a hip ... Just look at the Jaguar XKR, Aston DBS and Maserati GranTurismo, and you will be all clear. Each of these cars has its counterpart in human form and I'd like Aston DBS hooked up with Charlize Theron and Maserati with Monica Belluci, but the taste is nothing to discuss, and I'm sure everyone has their favorites.

However, here we are on the threshold of great questions, and that is - if the car is surpassed man, whether he became superior creation, and whether in relation man-machine, in fact, weakest link?

In fact, when you are relationship with top beautie this is not magically as you envision. She is often nervous, pain the ass, all her mind, not in the mood and not for sex. She got a bunch trips from adolescence, in which some are smaller complex or paranoiac. I do not agree best with your family, do not submit your simple and primitive friends, I've got nothing to wear and able to spend your fortune just for one night. There is no way that she will watch football or car race on TV with you. You're never quite sure that it does not fly with someone else, and that will not leave you for a richer guy. Maybe not as pretty without makeup, maybe not so good in bed, you may have a nasty tone of voice and ugly toes. The latter is, in the words of one of my friends foot fetishist, a very serious thing. If you go to her banging "counter" defend your male human rights and try to explain to her that the kitchen is the natural habitat of a woman (no matter how nice), you can be sure that she will go faster than it came.

None of these problems you have with a car. Top GT model will never refuse a call for rush or hard core soft porn boulevard pampering. He will never leave you for another, he will never tell coddle stories of other cars, never look into shop windows and ask you for money, a couple of tires will wear only once. Leather interior will always be met with heated seats to suit you and your music will always be to your liking. Grand Turismo coupe will look just as good in the morning and in the evening or after a nasty hangover. It will not nag you and will not mind if it nervous to drive away in the "homeland" in the conversation.

The point is that the cars that category become truly perfect vehicles. No more talk of poor quality and delicate finish, the owners of these cars used to suffer for the sake of exclusivity and prestige. Modern GT models are uptight and reliable. Perfectly balanced with tons of horses under the hood that are perfectly suited to gallop autobahn or lagging in the column on the traffic light. With a bunch of electronics that keeps you from yourself, and sufficient usable space to meet most everyday tasks. As long as they pour petrol, oil and water, they will blindly listen and be a perfect companion.

Because of this, the question is what is the ultimate male accessory? Beauty or GT car? What's better, what's more beautiful, what is more consistent in its appearance and impression, which is cheaper, with which it enjoys more and thus making it easier to live? If something have to wear a dress, what would it be? The car or the girl?

10 greatest muscle cars of all time

Perhaps one of the most exciting periods in automotive history was during the production years of the classic American muscle car.  Muscle cars were big, loud and ultra-powerful rubber burning machines.  During the 1960′s and 70′s the American automakers progressively became more competitive with their muscle car offerings. Each year it seemed Ford, Chevy, Chrysler or even AMC would out-do the competition in terms of brute power and aggressive exterior styling.  Since we love muscle cars we thought it would be fun to create a list of the all-time top 10 best muscle cars made on US soil.  Obviously this is merely our opinion so we don’t anticipate all readers to agree with the inclusion of all of the muscle cars on this list.  Since muscle cars are widely considered to have more than 2 seats; the Chevy Corvette, Shelby Cobra and other very powerful, fast cars from the era were omitted from this best muscle cars list.  Make sure to cast your vote on which of these you think is the greatest muscle car.

10)  1970 Buick GSX

Many Buick performance fans consider 1970 as the greatest year for Buicks 455 engine as it was the most powerful engine Buick built. General Motors lifted it's corporate ban of engines larger than 400 cubic inches in an intermediate body, and Buick quickly responded by adding the brand new 455 cubic inch engine into its restyled GS. The 455 boosted more displacement, bigger valves, and a hotter cam and included standard cold air induction through functional hood scoops. The 455's was rated at 350hp and a pavement pounding 510lb-ft of torque. The Stage 1 package, was even more with a hotter cam, bigger valves, and a revised carburetor. Buick rated it at 360hp, but most testers believed it was more than 400hp.

9) 1968 Pontiac Firebird Coupe

The Pontiac Firebird was a creation of the Pontiac division of General Motors. The Firebird shared a platform and body panels with the Chevrolet Camero. It featured a coke bottle styling, that is, an automotive body styling that has a contour bottle design. This style was initially introduced with the Studebaker Avanti in 1962. From there on, the trend of Coke-bottle began to grow. An example of a clean coke bottle design is the 1963 Buick Riviera.
When the Pontiac Firebird was introduced, it was offered in a convertible and hardtop couple with five engines, including a standard Firebird OHC 230 cubic inch six-cylinder one barrel with 175 horsepower and a Firebird Sptring 230 cubic inch six cylinder four barrel overhead with 215 horsepower. Another engine, at the high performance end, was the Firebird 400 V-8 four barrel with 325 horsepower.
The 1968 Pontiac Firebird saw its standard engine increased from 230 to 250 cubic inches, delivering 175 horsepower. The price for the base model started at $2666 for a couple and $2903  for a convertible. In 1968, more than 107,000 Pontiac Firebirds were produced, most of them with the 2-dour couple version (over 90,000).

8) 1969 Dodge Charger

A Dodge Charger 1969 is a really fast car.  ‘Till this day the Charger is still one of the fastest classic cars.  The Charger is known for its super charger and great suspension.  The classic Charger is really hard to find, including the parts!  It’s also meant for racing.  Many Charger owners fix up the engine to make it sound very loud and make it pack a lot of horsepower!  When you accelerate quickly the front of the car may come up, so they designed a bar in the back so the car won’t flip.  When I saw ‘The Fast and The Furious’ I liked it a lot because it features a classic Charger.  The 1969 Dodge Charger is the car I want to get when I’m older.

7) 1970 Boss 302 Mustang

The little V6 makes more power, and scoots the 2011 down the road substantially faster. Now those test results from the Boss look a little slow compared to the commonly published figures of the times (0-60 in 6.9; 1/4 mile in 14.6 @98mph). But then the buff books didn’t buy their Bosses anonymously, like CR did. Anyway, the V6 still equals those numbers.  And gets more than twice the mileage. The prices: similar too, adjusted for inflation, comparing a base 2011 to the Boss. And the 2011 gives you a the comforts that either weren’t available or extra in 1970: AC, power steering, music and a host of other creature comforts. Progress; although maybe not as much as some of us might have imagined in 1970. Predictions then would have had us all in electric cars long ago.

6) 1965 Pontiac GTO

Again for 1965 the GTO was an option available on the Tempest LeMans models of Pontiac. The GTO popularity had been growing and Pontiac Immediately started to add unique identifiers to GTO equipped cars. Front grills, rear fender sides and trunk were now marked with bold GTO letters. In addition to more noticeable markings the hood of the GTO equipped cars featured a very distinctive hood scoop, a feature that would follow GTO throughout its production years.

Horsepower actually increased over last year’s availability. A new LeMans GTO could be ordered with an optional 389, 360 Horsepower engine. Standard engine was 389 cubic inch rated at 335 horsepower. Additionally one could order a tri-power equipped 389 cubic inch motor that featured 3 - 2-barrel carbs.

5) 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda

This car was epic on so many levels, and it was great to chat with the owner Russell about it’s rebuild and some of the kit that went into it. I wont detail it all here, but there is a link below for those that want to know more.
This was a ‘driveway’ shot, when meant that whilst there arent many people crowding round the car, there were plenty of ‘house’ reflections off the immaculate black paint. The low angle shot helped with that – so I applied a little desaturation around the car as well as a bit of fade to white.

4) 1970 Chevelle 454 SS

No matter how you cut it, 454 cubic inches — roughly 7.4 liters — is a whole lot of engine, and it made for outrageous power in the 1970 Chevelle 454 SS. While its base power was already impressive at 360 horses, the LS6 upgrade made for an easy leap to a totally bonkers 450 ponies. This car, and the engine it held, basically represented the limit of the muscle-car power wars, and it is still the highest-output production car to date.

3) 1969 Z28 Chevy Camaro

The classic 1969 Camaro is one of the most iconic American cars of it's era, but the engineers here at LDP wanted to bring the old legend forward to the 21st century in a cloud of tyre smoke, V8 rumble and burning rubber. A true hotrod was born, boasting large power and torque figures granted acceleration which would put modern supercars to shame thanks to a fully restored and tweaked motor now supercharged to produce 565bhp the X28 means business. But we didn't just want to create a drag racer so as usual the full chassis and suspension treatment was given in order to make this car handle as well, but the beast can never truly be tamed with such power this still retains it's muscle car character which will keep the tyre companies happy for years to come.

2) 1966 Shelby Cobra 427

Of all the Cobra variants the 427 Semi/Competition or S/C is the most desirable series. Built from Shelby’s competition production line, these were purposeful race-cars that were prepared at the last minute for the road.

The story of the Cobra begins as early as 1959 when Carol Shelby raced for Aston Martin, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Along the way he probably took notice of a well performing AC Ace that would become a foundation for his next venture.

After quitting racing, he return to America to build his own sportscar, turning to Charles Hurlock of AC Cars to supply a chassis and body that was suitable for the new 260 cubic inch Ford V8. After considerable racing success, Ford provided the even larger 427 FE engine. By 1965, chief engineer Ken Miles wanted to fit thengine to win SCCA’s A Production Class and stay ahead of the Corvette Grand Sport.

1) 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500

The GT500 was basically a factory-authorized tuner Mustang created by Carroll Shelby. Introduced in 1967, the GT500 joined the GT350 on showroom floors and offered a 428-cubic-inch Police Interceptor engine with a conservatively rated 355 horsepower. Despite the larger engine, it was actually designed to be a more usable road-going vehicle than the lighter, race-ready GT350. Because of this, and its negligible premium over the GT350, the GT500 was an instant hit, just as it remains to this day.

Flying cars

Price $ 300,000, Americans by "driver" asking flight training. "Transition" concluded wings and so turns in a street car, PAL is more like a helicopter and on the street turns into a tricycle.

Seen before only in Hollywood science fiction movies, flying cars may soon become part of our everyday life. The experts at research centers say that this year we would be able to witness, and some people, flying first four-wheeler.

A vehicle that has successfully survived the first tests of the year, ready for sale. The price will be around $ 300,000, and will first appear on the market this year. Since the owner of the car will have to have 20 hours of flight training before they soar the skies time.

"Transition" Company "Terrafugia" aircraft that enters the leaf and so turns in a street car. After takeoff, can a tank of fuel to fly about 740 kilometers, carrying two people and luggage, and only later transformed into ground car.

Another type of flying car, known as PAL, is more like a helicopter than a plane. Developed by the Dutch company, the car has a propeller at the rear, which gives the acceleration and keeps it in the air. At home, he works as a tricycle. According to the characteristics and prices similar to "Transition".

In parallel with this project, is developing a more comprehensive and relating solely to the future in flying cars. At these private aircraft's that would completely replace the earthly auto traffic, but it is within the "Mycopter", with financial support from the EU.

Price and operate these vehicles the future seems, however, a minor problem compared to the issues that the mass use of flying cars opened. Questions and no small concern to the heavenly roads, provision of collisions, control drunk driver ...

For now, "Transition" has an experimental license to move to the U.S., where there are the best conditions to test the airport's 5,000 public and private catwalk so much more. Although "Transition" fits into a regular garage and has a fuel capacity of 87 liters, it is 520 meters to run to soar into the air.

1001 horse under the hood

Bugatti Veyron - the most expensive and fastest serial car in the world. Although it cost over 1.5 million Euros, on each individual car "Volkswagen" lost at least three times as much.

Back in 1909 in Alsace in the village Molshajm (France), Italian designer and engineer, Ettore Bugatti decided to "show the world how to make a car". He founded the factory "Bugatti", which made most expensive and fastest vehicles of the time.

Among the many successes "Bugatti" stands out triumph in the first "Grand Prix of Monte Carlo" and few victory’s at the legendary "24 Hours of Le Mans."

Not that with "Bugatti" was milk and honey, the ups and downs are alternated, the company changed hands and passed from hand to hand, until 1998, when it takes over the German " Volkswagen".

Assembled a team of professionals, from designers to engineers and 2005 represented the "Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron". EB is the mark in honor to Ettore Bugatti, and has 1001 hp. Base price is about 1.5 million euros, but depending on the model and special requirements can reach 2.5 million euros.

In "Volkswagen", however, say that the production even in this cost is - unprofitable. Namely, making this car costs at least 5 million euros. This means that the loss of the four-something million each, " Volkswagen " knowingly entered. There is no better advertising than "Bugatti Vejron"!

The engine has a capacity of 8 liters, 16 cylinders and 64 valves and four turbochargers. To reach the 100 kmh, it needs only 2.3 seconds. Maximum speed, the model "Bugatti Veyron Supersport" with 1200 hp,  reach 26 June 2010 - 431.072 kmh.

Despite all that, this is not a car for the runway, but for everyday driving. The Germans have requested from engineers to "Veyrin" goes to the regular services, like any other car, that can easily get over "speed bump". It is designed as a way to cool the engine, find tires that will not burn up when the gas pedal is pressed. For all this, it has taken four years and 750 million euros.

Only replacement of transmission costs about 120,000 euros. On wheels are "Michelin pixels tires", and change all four costs 70,000 euros.

The brakes are made of carbon-fiver, reinforced with silicon-kerbed, there are titanium to, with the task of stopped car that chasing over 400 kmh in less than 500 meters.

"Bugatti Veyron" uses, in urban conditions, about 29 liters per 100 kilometers, in the open road about 18 liters. If you press gas to the floor, consumption increases to 78 liters on 100 kilometers.

Flying cars are coming

Cars that can fly long been the subject of science fiction, but advances in technologies will soon be able to ensure that flying cars, actually hybrids of vehicles and aircraft to become a reality.

Some of the first prototype could even appear on the market early next year - told the Voice of America. Aviator Steve Seint comes from a family of pilots. His father worked as pilotage in South America, where Steve spent his childhood. I grew up in the jungles of the Amazon in Ecuador, where there are no roads. So, if you want to travel - you must fly - says Steve.

He founded the „I-Tec“ company," Education and Technology Center for the indigenous peoples“ , he says that his main motivation in designing a prototype flying car, which he called "Maverick" was - functionality.

Our main focus are the people in remote areas, humanitarian workers and other activists. Need to find the commercial market here in America - says Steve.

"Maverick" can reach speed of 150 kolometers per hour ( 90 mph) on the highway. When throw the wings looks like some kind of parachute and can fly up to 100  kilometers ( 60 miles ) at a speed of 65 kilometers per hour (40 mph).

Operational manager airline company "Terrafugia" Ana Ditrik believe that in America there is a market for the experimental model and its companies, which they called "transition".
We wanted to show that the same car can fly, to travel by road, the wings folded in a reasonable time to one minute, and then can be parked in your garage - says Anna.
She added that her company is moving toward the next stage in the production of its model "transition".

It is envisaged that the first model to be delivered in 18 months, and the price of the first flying car should be around 200 000 dollars.

Opponents

Although it appears that these two models represent significant breakthroughs, some pilots and enthusiasts are less enthusiastic.

John Monet, founder of the "Sonnet aircraft“, the company that develops sports airplanes on electric power, said that this is an interesting idea, but that required too much.
Aircraft must be produced by different standards than cars, and when you combine, you get something that is very mediocre - says Monet.
